The content of the book gets 5 stars. However, the last 20% of the book is riddled with grammatical errors, misspelled words, missing or incorrect words, and questionable sentence structure. I would normally ignore these small and usually acceptable errors, but for whatever reason they were especially distracting in this context.
This was a great book, it had a lot of good ideas throughout put into simple and practical methods. I am definitely going to put these teachings into practice!
I really like the philosophy that you cannot change things, you do not have control over!
Lacks any direct reference to important observations, quotes or directives by leading stoics such as Seneca, Epictitus or Marcus Aurilius. A little too simplistic for me.
This book will help you learn and understand more about Stoicism. Discover how you can apply this to your life and improve it for the best. This book was written in a very simple way for better and easier understanding.
Stoic disciplines are one of the habbits and principles I want to adapt or to exercise to be a great person. This book is all about it!
